Ghazal definitely took the long road to discover her true calling in life. With a computer science degree and a successful IT career, Ghazal had an untapped passion for design. From painting elaborate murals on her kids’ bedroom walls and designing extraordinary Halloween costumes, she would find ways to create and define her own style.

Shortly after the birth of her third child, Ghazal made the impulsive decision to trade her successful career for the demands of motherhood and pursue her passion as a children’s clothing designer.

The Ghazal Q collection resulted from her desire to dress her kids with clothing that had the look of a “design in motion. With appliqué designs that go from the front to the back of the shirt, or dresses with big bouncy bows, her quest for non – traditional, non-cutesy clothes went into each design. Ghazal says, "They are clothes that kids see grown-ups wear, but with a twist of fun!”

Whenever her kids wore the designs of Ghazal Q, it spawned numerous inquiries from other parents who loved her work. This led Ghazal on a mission to combine her eye for detail and her love of color and design with the challenges of creating a successful upscale boutique line.

Ghazal draws her inspiration from her three young children, Arianna 7, Kinza 5 and Ayman 3. She along with her husband Shams made the decision to relocate to Houston last year in order to be closer to family.

The Ghazal Q Style
Ghazal Q defines the new global language of style by merging art and design to create individual, creative and idealistic children’s designs. “Creating individual style - with a twist of fun is the philosophy that goes behind each design I make." states Ghazal Q. “Combining angelic organza’s with funky denim or airy cottons with the finest raw silks, makes each design whimsical and unique, just like the child who wears them.”

Awards and Recognition
Ghazal Q launched her Spring 2006 Collection as the official designer for Little Miss and Little Mr. Hawaiian Tropic State Finals on April 23rd in Houston Texas, along with her exclusive Ghazal Q Jewelry line. “It was fantastic to be part of this pageant as a celebration of the Ghazal Q line", states Ghazal. Ghazal Q was also featured at the Awty International School Gala, and will be featured in several upcoming fashion shows.
