Success
in the City and the University of Houston present the
2005-2006 Chrysalis Awards
You
started your business because you wanted to be your own boss.
To have a bigger piece of the pie. To fulfill your own vision
of the American dream. Like most business owners, you probably
thought, "I should be running the show." You imagined
doing what you love and reaping the rewards.
But now you're realizing that running a business is much more
than just working for yourself. There are challenges you never
imagined; roles you've never had to play. There is never enough
time and always so much more to do. You could work 24/7 and
still feel like you haven't quite caught up.
Wouldn't it be great to have someone help you navigate these
new waters? What if you had someone experienced, objective,
and completely committed to helping you succeed on your side?;
someone who'd keep you focused and accountable; help you problem
solve; someone who won’t just tell you like it is, but
show you how?
The Chrysalis Award was designed for precisely this purpose.
We know what it's like to be struggling solo. We've been there
ourselves. Our goal is to help you succeed - professionally
- personally, because we know the two must go hand in hand
in order to create success strategies that work.
